The S.T.R.I.V.E Program (Striving Towards Rebuilding Individuals Vocational Empowerment Program) is intended to help people who have barriers to employment, and housing by providing them an opportunity to get work experience, basic computer skills, vocational training, and connection to housing.

The S.T.R.I.V.E. Program is designed to assist unhoused/homeless individuals with the desire to improve their quality of life, access the tools, and resources to make that desire possible.

The S.T.R.I.V.E Program Upon meeting with program staff; and completing an Initial Needs Assessment together staff and participants will complete a goal-driven plan to connect with resources based upon the Initial Needs Assessment responses.

For employment needs, participants will immediately be assessed with a rapid employment intake, based upon eligibility to work, ability to perform roles within our work programs and right to works documents, (State Issued Identification Card, Birth Certificate, or Social Security Card) (if a client does not possess these items a plan to obtain them, along with vouchers to assist with the cost of these documents will be provided to the participant.)

A participant will be placed on one of our Litter Abatement work crew. ( 4 hour days, Mon- Fri, paid $18.50 an hour). The case manager will then complete a Vocational Service Plan and begin transitioning the participant into our Career Technical Education (CTE) program (Paid).
